Piano & Strings for Adults: A One-Day Retreat!
For players of Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello or Double Bass
Next Session: Sunday, December 15th - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Our Piano & Strings "Retreat" for Adults is a unique one-day, 2 hour intensive (but totally fun!) learning session for ages 18 and older, and is the perfect start for those who've had no prior playing experience, or who just want to "begin again". You'll jump right into playing the moment you sit down! By the end of class, you'll be comfortably and independently reading and playing music, and most of the way (if not all the way) through your first lesson book!

No matter what age you are, you can learn to play the piano at the Music Studio. A very pleasant atmosphere plus Susan is amazingly patient and accommodating. Susan Flinn makes learning piano an absolute joy! Her dedication and expertise help me progress steadily, and her love for music is contagious. If you are seeking a piano teacher who truly cares about your growth look no further.

Though it's not necessary to have any prior musical background, many of the adults in our Piano & Strings Retreats have had some amount of instruction in their childhood, but aren't sure how much they remember, or want to brush up on skills. At the start of the class, we typically ask if everyone would be comfortable starting from the beginning for a quick review...then adjust each student individually to their best level and pace, as needed. Everyone is working on headphones (so you won't have to play in front of anyone!), and not pushed or held back by anyone else in the class. Students can "review" and practice to their heart's content. Whether you've never played an instrument before, or are desiring to pick up where those childhood lessons left off, it's going to be a lot of fun, and you'll be pleasantly surprised at your progress!

Cost: $85 total (your lesson book is included in the cost, and will be ready for you when you arrive)

Signing up is quick and easy! You can click on the button below to reserve your spot and pay electronically. Your payment will be processed securely through Square, and we accept ACH bank transfers, credit or debit cards, and Cash App. You'll receive a confirmation of your appointment and payment, as well an email reminder the day before the class. There's no risk in signing up, as your tuition is completely refundable at any time if your schedule should take an unexpected turn, or simply reschedule into one of our future classes.
