Make Ups (All Instruments)
Where our current students can directly reschedule missed lessons at any time
Make-Up Lesson Policy
We know that life happens—whether it's illness, travel, or a scheduling conflict, our goal is to offer flexible options so your student doesn’t miss a beat.
Here’s how our make-up process works:
For Voice, Harp, and Private Lesson Students
While we’re unable to provide private one-on-one make-ups for harp or voice lessons, we do offer a valuable and flexible alternative:
Voice and Harp students, as well as any advanced Private Lesson students are invited to attend a make-up session in one of our Accelerated Piano Classes (if you click on the box below for Harp or Voice, the link will automatically take you to the Piano Make Up Calendar).
Why piano? Because it’s one of the best tools for developing music literacy, sight-reading, and theory understanding—skills that benefit all musicians, including singers and harpists. No piano experience (or piano at home) is needed. Students will be guided in class and we have an ample supply of books available for use during the session.
These make-ups are a great way to gain musical breadth while staying engaged between regular lessons.
We know that life happens—whether it's illness, travel, or a scheduling conflict, our goal is to offer flexible options so your student doesn’t miss a beat.
Here’s how our make-up process works:
- Make-ups can be scheduled anytime during the year—they don’t expire, and you’re welcome to book when it’s most convenient.
- Availability is updated weekly, so if you don’t see a time that works, check back later. There’s no need to rush.
- The majority of openings are single-student slots. If you’re trying to schedule for multiple students or multiple instruments, and don’t see a workable match, feel free to email us at [email protected]—we’re happy to help coordinate.
- To be eligible for make-ups, your tuition account must be up to date.
- We always appreciate advance notice of absences. Please email us when possible, or leave a voicemail if you're on the go—we may not reply immediately during lesson hours, but rest assured, your message has been received and will be noted.
- Note: although we offer make up lessons, they are not owed. Missed lessons are not refundable. Monthly tuition will not be prorated due to lessons missed by students. It is the student’s/parent’s responsibility to keep track of any missed lessons.
