Open to: Current Piano and Strings Students, ages 7 and Up
Cost: $85 per student
Description & Mission: The Disney, & Lesson "Book Blast!" is a 2-hour piano learning session (the equivalent of a month of private lessons...all in one day), designed for our current students, ages 7 and up, who are already reading music.
Our purpose is to offer an effective (and crazy fun!) day of piano playing to students interested in adding familiar and loved Disney music into their repertoire, while also helping them to improve their practice and sightreading skills.
The majority of the session will be spent learning new music and finishing remaining lesson book songs. However, we'll also have fun exercises, activities, games, and some musical surprises! Students may take breaks as needed, and we'll serve snacks. Music books will be provided for use during the class (please have students bring their lesson books from home).
We make learning to play music fun and easy! As in our regular lessons, the environment is non-competitive...each student learns at his own pace and won't be held back or pressured by other students. With two teachers on staff, everyone will have ample personal attention and time for questions.
