| Would you like to take music lessons, but the travel time just won't fit into your schedule? Or perhaps you live out of our area? Why not host a class from The Music Studio? You provide the students -- We provide the instruction! As the host, you will receive your lesson slot in the class at half-price as long as minimum student registrations and requirements are met. The following classes can be offered at your home or facility: Strings Lessons (Violin, Viola) The basic structure of the lessons will be very similar to the one-hour in-studio private lessons, including theory and emphasis on proper technique and developing strong reading skills. Host lessons, however, will also have the added benefit of group teaching, which means students experience ensemble playing and performing for each other at every class. As with private lessons, students may participate in two recitals per year. Lesson hosting may be an excellent way to bring piano or strings lessons into your neighborhood -- consider hosting at your home, club house, church or even your place of business!
