Music Lessons last a lifetime! Our mission is to ensure our students enjoy their lessons, enjoy practicing, and love music by developing the reading, technique, and performance skills necessary for them to become independent, fluent musicians. We strive to make our lessons the activity your child looks forward to all week, and that your home is filled with beautiful music.

Accelerated Piano & Strings Program
Ages 6 & Older
There's no reason why students shouldn't love their lessons and enjoy practicing at home! We make playing feel easy, and practicing even easier! Our Accelerated Program (specifically for Piano, Violin, or Viola), for ages 6 and older, focuses on building confidence, strong sight-reading, technique, and practice skills in a fun, social environment. The longer 60-minute weekly sessions help eliminate practice problems at home - students have time to learn their music and technique before going home to rehearse. Students won't even realize how quickly they're moving through their lesson books! Trial Lesson required.
Elite Piano Lesson Program
Instructor invitation only. Designed especially for advanced students who have graduated from their method books. Our Elite Piano Lesson Program is a combination of weekly private lesson time plus additional ensemble and group performance once per month, as well as special performance opportunities.
Private Instruction Program
Harp, Flute, Guitar
Private Instruction is offered in Harp, Flute, and Guitar, for all ages and levels. Students meet one-on-one with their instructor each week and progress at their own pace. Recommended lesson length for beginning students is 30 minutes weekly. Recital and other performance opportunities are available to interested students.
Group Instruction in Piano is offered to Adults with little or no prior musical experience. There is no long-term commitment; each class runs for 5 weeks (5 weekly sessions). The groups are casual and small (typically 4 - 6 students), and progress quickly in a fun, social learning environment. The members of the group work as a support system for each other and benefit from learning and performing together. Students who enroll are typically beginners with no prior music background, "almost beginners", or piano players who wish to refresh their skills and work toward more advanced music. There is ample opportunity (and encouragement) for students to ask questions and review concepts during each class due to the longer lesson length (60 minutes weekly). Students have the additional option of attending on a different day should they have a schedule conflict.

We welcome the opportunity to work with children and adults with disabilities, including the special needs of students with ADHD, PDD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (for ages 4 and older). Our program mission is to provide musical training, therapy, and a rewarding experience that will last a lifetime. Recommended lesson length is 30 minutes weekly, and instruction is tailored to the individual needs of the student and focused on finding his/her unique gifts. We ask that parent(s) and child meet with the instructor prior to beginning lessons.
We offer special music "camps" for Piano, Strings, Harp, and Guitar, at various times throughout the year, such as holiday breaks and summer. These concentrated sessions are cram-packed with fun activities and new music...and a great way for both beginners and current students to try out new instruments, or polish their musical skills. Notices for upcoming camps can be found on our Home Page, and through The Music Studio Facebook Page.
